Welcome Tucker!

Tucker Craig Bishop was welcomed into this world at 1:37pm after about 15 hours of labor. We got to the hospital at 3am and Tish did a great job progressing and pushing. Tucker came in in 7 pounds and 4 ounces and in 20 inches long. He is healthy and mom is doing great. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers today. We have truly been blessed. Tucker told me to tell you that he is very thankful to get to share his birthday with his two wonderful aunts. Happy birthday Lauren and Lindsay!

June 8th?

Yes, we're still waiting. June 8th came and went with no arrival. If nothing happens soon we will induce Tish on Tuesday, much to the delight of his 2 aunts whom he will share a birthday with.

So much is happening!

Hi family and friends. So much has happened since our last post...mainly just being busy with life. We are at 38 5/7 weeks. Tucker could come at any time, but we are still a few days away from his 6/8 due date.

We bought our house and we have had possession for one month today! Happy one month anniversary house!

Tish graduated from UVU and I graduated from the UVU Law Enforcement Academy. I have tested with several agencies including the Utah Highway Patrol. This last week I completed a polygraph and psych exam and I currently have a conditional offer from them. So if I passed the psych I should have a job with them starting before July 1. Good stuff.

We have done lost of things to the house, with lots more to do. Tucker's room took precedence so his room is all done.

An update

So we thought we should update you on what's going on with us.

Tish is doing fantabulous. She is 24 weeks along, and little Tucker (our little boy's name) is moving all over the place and tickling Tish from the inside. We are very grateful that we have had a very uneventful pregnancy thus far. Here's a picture from a couple of weeks ago:

So some of you may be aware that we are buying a house in Pleasant Grove...we are becoming very grownup this year. We have an accepted offer, but because the house is a short sale it requires the approval of some banks. The house had two mortgages and we are waiting on the second to say ok. So hopefully we will be in our new house before Tucker arrives.

So this last weekend Tish had a bit of an accident in her car, and we had to retire her car and get a new one. So with the generous help of our parents we were able to buy this:

As Tish puts it: "It's a MOMMY CAR!"


It's a manual transmission, and even though I do know how, I never HAD to drive one. So it's been fun to get more practice.



As for me, everything is going great. The police academy is going at full speed. We got to have a little fun with our instructors and they got to have a little fun with us too. (See below) I will be testing with a few agencies in the next few weeks, so let's pray that all will go well and maybe one of them would like to offer me a job.

Well that's about all. We are just so blessed with all the wonderful things going on and we hope that you all are doing just as well!

He's Still a Boy

So we had our 20 week ultrasound this week and everything is great.

I'm sure most of you are not interested in the video, but the grandmas (though Tish's mom doesn't like the sound of "grandma"...she prefers "Abu," short for abuela), aunties and uncks are, so this is mainly for them.
